Speaker Biography
James Horng is currently the Business
Development Director for Atheros Communications, a leading developer
of advanced semiconductor solutions for wired and wireless
communications. Horng has been working in the semiconductor and
telecommunications industries in both the U.S. and Taiwan for more
than 20 years.
Prior to Atheros, Horng worked for Airgo, PCtel,
Macronix, Sierra Semiconductor, Racal Milgo and Tecom serving in
various sales, marketing, business development, customer support and
product development roles for GPS, 802.11 Wireless LAN, DSL modem,
Analog modem, and DSP products.
Mr. Horng earned his Bachelor of Science degree
in Electrical Engineering from the National Chao-Tung University in
Taiwan and a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
from San Jose State University.<Back>
